was not happy at all, took ride on mower in for service and some repair. owner came out to trailer and inspected, and it was agreed that $500 for the service and repair. was informed to pay $100 deposit. received a call informing it would cost more, now $800. I told them the mower was not worth spending this money on, go to get deposit back and am told this is gone due to a inspection fee, that I did not ask for. if you do have to use them for service and there is no other available make sure you get a written quote from the start. try and justify as much as you like, you did not explain the 100 at start of business and you entered into a gentleman's agreement at the trailer for the work to be done otherwise there's no need to come out and look just book and pay 100 to get it looked at for a quote. you didn't explain that and gave the impression 500 in works to be done.

Friendly professional staff. Sales team was helpful, informed but not pushy. Service team went that extra step providing tips for ongoing mower care.

They tell you there too busy when calling up for a part then never bother to call back . Easyer to order parts online

Awesome service, not just sold you the machine but willing to give you a full run down on how to use it and register you for warranty rather then it just ending up on top of your fridge never getting done.

Very unscrupulous. Being pensioners we decided to invest in a new mower.18 months later it was smoking badly. We took it into Elliots and an hour later they rang and said we didn’t have oil in it and as such it wasn’t covered under the warranty and would cost $1200 to put in a new motor. We knew we had oil in it so we took it to another shop to get a second opinion. Simply the head gasket needed replacing. The mower is now working perfectly. Requested payment from them for the faulty gasket. They refused. Currently taking them to the small claims court. Extremely disappointed at our age to have a company try and cheat us. Worst customer service I have ever experienced! Booked my ride on mower in for a service dropped it off was informed it would be ready by 3pm the next day. As I am from out of town I had to knock off work early to pick it up. When I got there I was informed I had not dropped the mower off! When they finally found my mower the work wasn't done. When I implied to the manager that a phone call would have been nice I got a shrug of the shoulders and an oh well" and by the way it wont be ready for another week! Fair to say someone else now has my business."

I would strongly recommend against anybody shopping here. A business that has absolutely no willingness to stand behind the products they sell. Find a way to put the blame on any customer when there is a fault with a product.Posting to warn people. I had a terrible experience a couple of years ago. I've since heard from 3 separate people having similar problems. After taking the mower to another place to be repaired I was told that they constantly have equipment from unhappy customers from this business. Being told that their products are never faulty and refusing to warrant them.When they spin you a yarn about how they've sold hundreds of these things and never had a problem with them. It's a blatant lie. They have many problems, they just don't want to deal with them.

Can't recommend Elliots enough. I rang on a busy Saturday and the sales person I spoke to was patient and full of information and advised me that they had plenty of stock on hand (local stores had very limited models to choose from). Today I travelled down to the store and was met by friendly staff who got Noel to help me choose a new mower. Noel explained the pros and cons of each style of mower to me and in the end we left with a new TS248TXD Husqvarna mower. No question was too hard and Noel spent a considerable amount of time helping us with our purchase. The handover was excellent and the knowledge of the products being sold in the store was outstanding. Well worth the trip ! Very happy customers !
